A comprehensive rebrand which broke new ground in TV news design. We completely reimagined RTL Nieuws, the biggest commercial news network in the Netherlands, from on-air, to studio, music, and digital platforms. (Collaboration with Smörgåsbord Studio).

Internazionale is simply unique — a Rome-based news magazine and website with the highest journalistic standards and a passionately committed young audience. They have become friends, and as good friends should, they push us to do our best. We gave them their identity, print and web design, and are working closely with them on long-term strategy and development.
RTLZ wanted to grow up, from a daytime financial news service into a credible and sophisticated business lifestyle channel. We delivered assets and visual guidelines which ensured that all elements shared a cohesive and unmistakable look. The Long+Short pushed the boundaries, bringing high-end magazine design and art direction to HTML-based publishing (without parallax scrolling).

We refreshed their identity, gave the newspaper and website a bold, contemporary new design, and improved the reading experience in preparation for the introduction of a paywall and premium subscriber-only content.
