Very Elle

I’m loving this special issue from French Elle designed by Non-Format. I think there may have been others but this is the first I’ve seen. The digital version is plagued by several things I really hate (turn-the-page online magazine format, over-the-top flash, etc etc etc), but I can’t help finding it pretty cool against my better judgement…

Lou Dorfsman

R.I.P. the Sunday Times magazine

London’s Sunday Times magazine was the colour supplement that defined the genre for a generation. Famous for Don McCullin’s photo dispatches from Vietnam and Northern Ireland, in the 60s and 70s it also showcased the brilliant art direction of Michael Rand and David King.
