I’m on a quick trip to New York, mainly to visit the Times. The streescape here is pretty chaotic, but always in the background is the soothing presence of Vignelli associates’ iconic and oh-so-rational wayfinding programme for the Subway. But I’m staying near Times Square, where a bit of bling with your signage is obligatory, and Ive never seen it looking quite like this… I doubt that Massimo would approve
